![]() The very first entry: LUT_AFS_CODRV_Vert was coded correctly to the right Werte. Step 3(FEM_BODY) is where things got interesting: So basically, all the coding in step 2 was intact and already completed. I did change them to "init_ECE_F030" and "init_ECE_F025" as appropriate, but NONE had Werte values any different whatsoever. Even though the actual ECE VO Value was listed as slightly different. In the "How to" document, all the values listed in Step 2 (LHM43 and LHM44) were correctly coded to the appropriate Werte's listed in the document. Obviously, the first thing I checked on was the VO, and did confirm that written to my car 5AP and 8S4 were already removed. I just did the re-coding, post 58.3 update, of my lights and there were a few interesting things. We conjectured in an earlier post that some people might think that it is a police car signaling to move aside. Think about your reaction if you were unaware of this technology and saw the headlights of the car behind you rotating and tilting. True that the roads I went to are very twisty and constantly varies in pitch. Understandable and I would probably do the same after as while too if it would happen to me. Maybe it's annoying for them to see the lighting pattern constantly changing after a while and might be a distraction. Twice I had cars eventually pull on the side to let me pass although I could clearly see the the beams create a dark tunnel around their cars. It seems to startle the cars I followed when I used NGHB though. ![]() I think some people find the LEDs too bright no matter what. I got flashed once using my normal low beams and I am not sure why. Not once was I flashed by oncoming cars using NGHB in 1.5 hours. I had to force myself to focus on the road and not on the beam moving all over the place. I was so impressed that I started laughing really loud as I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Also impressive to see the system track the incoming cars and gradually changing the spread of light accordingly. Just wow! This was so awesome to see the light show and the tunnels being created behind cars. After some hesitation, in fear of blinding people, I pressed the auto-HB button and BAM! Then went for a ride up north of where I live in the small country roads.
